My pokemon tattoo
Pokemon came out when I was 5
I got it the day it came out along with my first game boy.
Here we are 16 years later & i still love it.
I am a First Generation Trainer.

Alot of people will see this as childish
But frankly pokemon was a big part of my life.
During my parents divorce & grandparents death
I dived head first into pokemon games & reading.
Some people will think its stupid, I don't.

This is a repost. I deleted the original.
To much arguing & negitivty on it.

I've been asked alot about the time and pain of the tattoo.
So, it took around 2 & a half hours to complete,
though it will need probably an hours worth of touching up once its healed.
[Bulbasaurs face, shaky lines, and depth added]
As for pain, I winced a little around the collar bone.
The rest kinda tickled. I have a very high pain tolerence.

NOTES:

1. I'm aware the american release date was 1998
My brother was way into japanese games
[he is 16 years my senior] so i was exposed early.

2. Also, for people who say i shouldn't have gotten
something so big, this is my smallest tattoo.
As for the comment its in a bad place,
Its excatly where I wanted it & easy to hide.

3. And for those who say I will regret this when I'm 80.
Live life with no regrets, even body art.
My pokemon will simply evolove with me.

4. Yes It says First Gen. However i love ALL gen.
& there pokemon so don't think im a narrow minded pokefan
every single pokemon and generation of trainer
has something speical about them.

5. For those who don't like it. Don't look. Don't comment.
Do like a bug pokemon in the face of repel and stay away.
Or get creative like other user and start a thread on another site,
Linking to my photo, and bashing me.
That way you get to vent & I get page veiws.
You know a win-win thing.

6. Finally, I have every right to use the image under the Fair Use Law [link]
due to the fact Pokemon are not a product or property of the artist.
Who can't be found. I've tried.
So don't bother posting a comment about this matter.

I would love to use your Tat as inspiration for a pokemon first gen Tattoo =) Im a first generation trainer as well and I totally respect this! Pokemon was a huge part of all or lives when we were young, it connected us kids to something beautiful and we never even realized it. You miss are awesome!
